Malay Redub
Working on the Malay redub of The Nightmare Before Christmas was a particularly fun project, bringing Danny Elfman’s legendary and theatrical score into a Malay-language performance while preserving the character and spirit of the original.
The choir team delivered an excellent performance, adding the energy and scale that the music demands. Special thanks to Addy Jamil for working seamlessly with me on Jack’s vocals, bringing the character to life while staying true to the original performance.
Danny Elfman’s music is simply extraordinary, and working on a production with such a unique musical identity was a rewarding experience.
